I am pleased to have this opportunity to recommend Bob McKnight and his team of professionals for all your boating needs.
Bob has been involved in the care of my boat for the past ten years. During that time interval he has always been there to take care of anything from simply replacing a screw or tightening a bolt to performing, and/or supervising, major refit projects. To say that his shipwright services are world class would be an understatement.
For those of you looking for that peace of mind and security that is so often hard to find in the marine industry today, I would suggest you give Bob McKnight a call.

Subject: Testimonial on Cruising the Northwest
As a Foreigner coming to the Western Canadian waters for cruising I was wonderfully surprised in the 5 years I moored my boat at Coal Harbor Marina in Vancouver, British Columbia..
I happened upon Bob McKnight, a Shipwright, who maintains boats in the Marina and around the Greater Vancouver area. When I say maintains that is the short of it. I have never seen a Marine Store, Wright Mariner, and a work area that can do just about anything other than haul a boat at the Marina.
I had engine work performed, electronics changed or repaired, canvas work repaired or replaced, windows replaced, floors redone, and that does not list the annual maintenance that needs to be done. If Bob or his Band of Boatman can't repair something they sure know who can and does. To be able to come up to Vancouver and know your boat will be maintained and ready for cruising makes the trip enjoyable before it even starts.
I am back in California now with my boat and I can honestly say that in the 50 years of sailing, cruising and maintaining my own boats I really miss the one person I got to know and trust with my boat. Leaving your boat in a foreign country with the Winters and unknowns that can happen is not an easy decision. I personally feel that the EDEB is in the best shape it has ever been in since I purchased her in 1985 and I owe a great deal of the expert fitting out to Bob. This is a lost trait which I am grateful to have been a part of.
Only a true boat owner can relate to having someone else watch and take care of their boat and feel like you are not abandoning her when you have to leave and go home.
