MY Safari Part 2

This 2002 Symbol 80 Pilothouse Yacht caught the eye of the new owner Chris Wuerz several years ago while cruising the West Coast and spending some time in Coal Harbour Marina, Vancouver. He knew there was a lot of potential to transform this yacht into something that would suit his needs.

"With an already amazing layout our main focus was the flybridge."

In 2015 Chris made the leap and purchased Safari and started looking for someone who would be able to work with him in a "design / build" environment. Having worked with Bob McKnight in the past on some of his other boats, he knew what he was getting himself into. An 8 month project was born and the transformation began. The photos listed here are from the original Safari prior to the project. The accompanying videos tell the story and show the true nature of the transformation. Keep checking back as we will be updating them as they are completed.

A large salon with plenty of room is an appealing feature of this incredible yacht. The immaculate galley with plenty of room is every owner's dream.

So many amazing living and seating areas.

It was an already great layout so we only made minor tweaks here and there.

The flybridge is the focus of this project and the transformation is amazing.
